The concept for Road Trip Development began (you guessed it) on a series of roadtrips to NW Arkansas. On one of these trips, developer Rob Goltermann, president and CEO of Road Trip, learned of The Whole Health Institute, created in 2020 by Walmart Inc. heiress and philanthropist Alice Walton that takes a holistic approach to health and well-being. The Institute seeks to revolutionize health care by addressing “physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being by working with health systems, partners, employers, and communities to redesign health care delivery.”
Inspired by Walton’s holistic approach to health, and propelled by his own journey into health through functional medicine, Rob launched the Road Trip brand with its flagship design—a 207-unit project on College Avenue in Fayetteville called The Claude. Located near the NW Arkansas Mall, The Claude offers a wellness-based approach to living. Community amenities include meditation rooms, secret gardens, infrared saunas, cold plunge pools, community gathering spaces, and unique ways to bring in natural light to the space.
The Gallery @A, located at 805 and 809 NW A St., is a boutique project of 11 luxury townhomes, but is based on the same principles of design that promote physical and mental health. The 12th townhome will serve as the home office of Road Trip Development and DCM Management Company. Rob hopes to be a contributing part of this unique pocket community.
